Social security is a set of trust funds with a balance of about $2.7 trillion as of December 2024. We are the source of these funds. It belongs to us. These funds should be protected so we can protect each other. www.ssa.gov/oact/progdat...

Fantastic review of new research by @erictopol.bsky.social showing link between microbiome & sweet tooth. Its all about the freefatty acid receptor FFar4 - this was lower in people with diabetes/High sugar preference & linked to decreased Bacteroides vulgatus which makes vit B (pantothenic acid) 馃И
