"Yeah, not too difficult, but I commend ya. Lotsa folk can't keep up as well as you can."

"Nothin' wrong with it. Just makes me wonder if that'll sustain ya."

"Havin' a champs breakfast, I see."

"Oh, that is gonna be perfect. If ya feel like a cocktail or another beer, there's some in the fridge." He sat down beside her, taking her hand and planting a few kisses on her knuckle. "Got a few I need to get to. Was gonna do Evil Dead first."

"It's one of ya many talents." He flicks the light on as they enter the cozy living room. He brings her to the couch. "There's a horror movie I've been meanin' to watch, but if ya ain't into that, a comedy would be nice."

That's just what he needed; all of the dullness of thw day was more than worth it. "Ya warm my heart." He stands, taking her hand. "C'mon. I'll grow roots if I'm in here any longer; let's head upstairs and put a movie on."

Casting his line off of the pier, eyes staring straight ahead into the vibrant blue waves. He holds his hand out over his head. "Mind handin' me the lighter, (READER)?"

"Well... least there's nothin' stressful. Gettin' to see ya a little more is a major upside too." He leans over, cupping her cheeks before planting a peck on her forehead then one on her lips. "Couldn't help myself."

"Honestly, I was just about to conk out, so... yeah. Paperwork ain't very interestin'." His eyes drift to the bags before he shoots up out of his seat to pull a chair out for her. "But enough about me. How are you? Doin' alright? It's been a bit."

"Sundays are the best."

Loud thumps echo out, the cracking of wood starting after hours of the hard sound.

Should have one of those energy shots and a good meal. Might fix ya up.

Dull eyes take in the streets as he comes to a stop, light panting escaping him. "Wow..." He mutters softly as he looks up at the rising sun; its warm golden glow brought a smile to his lips. "Always so dang nice... makes stayin' up worth it."

"Damn... it all hurts."

Squatting while turning the skewers on the grill before looking up. "Ya hungry?"

That would be absolutely divine. He had laid his head down, but he instantly perked up when she showed herself. "Oh dang." He was out of his seat and walking up to her. "C'mon, come right in, darlin'."

"Uhhhhh..." Eyes shut and he drops.

"Good mornin'!"

Sweet! He's a little peckish, but he doesn't want to cook. The door to his office is open just for her!

Oh, she'd be able to turn him from a bored grump to overjoyed in a second.

"So damn dull... got my work all done for the first time in forever and I don't have anyone to help me celebrate."

Humming.

He's been standing in the same spot doing burpees for hours.

"Really now?" His smile grows, eyes gleaming with joy. "You and I make a good combo. My meal plans are gonna get a major boost, but my guys are gonna end up hooked... Hope ya don't mind me sendin' them through for their fix."

He's been up for a while now, waiting for the moment the warmth of the sun peeks into the room so he can welcome (reader) into the new day... Happy Sunday

"Gotcha." Once the first one's done he rolls it up and slips into a takeout plate, then goes another one right on top. "Drinks are in the side cooler. Grab whatever ya like."

"Nothin' but a measly thousand yen. Only up charge is for a drink and a chicken skewer and that's just an extra two hundred." He's sprinkling some bits onto the big thin pancake. "Ya want everythin' on it yeah?"
