Last night I doomscroll stumbled onto a film documentary on extreme bird watching. Didn't expect to stay up watching the whole thing until 1 am, but that's what happened. Genuinely brilliant, funny & heartfelt. Now I need to shout about it. 'Listers' on YouTube. youtu.be/zl-wAqplQAo?...

Just finished Small Prophets. Absolutely charming, whimsical and delightful TV from Mackenzie Crook. Gentle and emotive but also uplifting simply by existing. "Excuse me, do you sell buckets?"

Completely reeling from this decision by Adobe to kill off Animate. My entire body of work has been created in Animate. I use it for everything. My workflow and way of working has just been completely upended. To say I'm distraught would be an understatement.

Some HUGE games have launched recently… but only one of them got a @rockpapershotgun.bsky.social “Bestest Best” award... just saying. Hades 2 ❌ Dying Light: the Beast ❌ Silent Hill f ❌ Borderlands 4 ❌ STRANGE ANTIQUITIES ✅ NBA 2K26 ❌ Hollow Knight: Silksong ❌

Robert Redford was one of the finest actors of all time. A giant of cinema. Impeccably handsome and great in everything. Everyone will mention Butch Cassidy and the Sting. For me it's All the Presidents Men, Sneakers and Spy Game.

Strange Horticulture is 60% off on Steam right now! 🌱 With just 5 days to go before Strange Antiquities, this weekend is the perfect time to step into Undermere and learn what it takes to manage an occult shop. store.steampowered.com/app/1574580/...

Alien: Earth is basically made-for-me TV. With our game’s release date just over 2 weeks away, it’s nice to have something to escape into for a bit.

No doubt you've heard a certain big indie game is dropping Sept 4th. Others are (understandably!) scrambling to get out of the way. We stand between them and the threshold. We want to reassure our fans that Strange Antiquities will STILL RELEASE on 17 Sept. #davidvsgoliath

Project Hail Mary trailer launched! Hell Yeah! Read the book - loved it. Listened to the audiobook - even better. Don't watch the trailer, just go watch it blind in 2026. Please! We need the film industry to stop making sequels and make original sci-fi films like this. #ProjectHellYes #jazzhands

Congratulations to @localthunk.bsky.social on all the Game Awards nominations for Balatro. Going off my steam play stats for 2024 it's a shoe in for GOTY, and it's not even close.

Hi. I'm a British game developer working with my brother on Strange Antiquities. Please check it out on Steam. As a small team of two we both wear many hats and take on many different roles but mainly he does the code while I overthink stuff... Oh and I do all the art.

A new place. No followers. Just clear blue sky. There's something refreshing about starting with a clean slate. Feels oddly cathartic.
