Luke Chaos

The greatest.

I just heard about the passing of Peter J. Carroll. May he cleave his path among the never-resting stars. I never knew him personally but as one of the originators of Chaos Magick he was one of the most influential people on my life. Without him there's no Luke Chaos, no Chaos Royale, no Noise/Girl.

Gorgeous ambient delay combinator for Reason DAW (ver.12 and up). Check out the Chaos FX line at gumroad: chaosfx.gumroad.com

f-14 tomcat is kill 😢

Which kind of noise musician are you?

Alysia Liu made me love skating again. Congratulations to team Japan too! & a wonderful FS by Amber Glenn.

Hot spiced rum and cinnamon milk with 15 grams of protein: basically this is health food right?

The more I look at this, the more I over-think it.

Iranians go hard.

All I want for Christmas is a Ronald Hutton lecture about Hecate. m.youtube.com/watch?v=kZxi...

This Friday I will be performing with contemporary dance group 86B210 in Shinjuku. Tickets available below: www.cooh-studio.com/event-detail...

Yo Dawg, why is my coffee from the 1990's?

The Witch House, artist introduction: Watanabe Mihoko trained at Nihon university college of Art and also abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and has appeared in many stage & film productions. She will be narrating Medea's invocation of Hecate from "the Metamorphoses".

Apparently last weekend's witch did not upload properly so here she is - drawn by IrenHorrors, Hecate: patron goddess of THE WITCH HOUSE, my occult salon party, returning on September 27 at "Mother" in Shimokitazawa. DM me for details.

Today's witch is Medea, anti-heroine of the quest for the golden fleece. Depicted gloriously by the wonderful Evelyn De Morgan. One more witch tomorrow, with an announcement.

The Witch of Endor, by Dmitri Nikiforovich Martynov. circa 1857 Although usually translated "witch" in English, she is more correctly "the mistress of the Ob (ritual pit?) at Eyn Dor". (Having a very witchy August, for reasons that will soon become clear).

My favorite curry restaurant in Tokyo right now:

RIP Ozzy. Somehow this seems appropriate. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prjh...

Anti racism in Shinjuku. Pretty positive crowd.

At the south exit of Shinjuku there is some kind of anti fascist demonstration-cum-rave bumping hella dub bass. But what really caught my attention was the sign “Goths against fascism” 👍

Everybody gangsta until the handle falls off their favorite mug.

It was always obvious that this guy was a cunt. Fuck Spotify and fuck Daniel Ek.

Do it, you cowards! www.scmp.com/week-asia/he...

A book about anarchy in the ancient world? Could be interesting. www.plutobooks.com/978074535039...

Fascinating piece of micro-history about a midwife and her cavalryman husband. The historical record was recently deleted by the US govt. for political reasons but firearms history channel InRangeTV has preserved it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqLF...

Happy 40th birthday!

How I feel after 5 weeks of trying to make a coherent introductory class on the history and practice of Tarot.

I can't add anything surprising or new to the mourning of David Lynch so I will just say that Eraserhead is a classic and if you haven't seen it yet, please do. He was one of my favorite directors. May he sail among the imperishable stars.

"Hail to Sekhmet, the mighty one, who comes forth as the Eye of Ra, who subdues the rebels and annihilates disorder with her flames." *coffin texts, middle kingdom.

Man, late 2000's Chaos Royale ™ would have been all over this.

The new "Analog" mode for ValhallaDelay is gorgeous. It can float all sparkly and ethereal, or grind out dark gloopy echoes like half-forgotten memories. Love it, love it. I will be using this a lot.

I *promise* I will upload some new music soon; things have been a bit rough lately. In the meantime; don't forget "Forever and Today": a shimmering tempest of black clouds and diamond hail. noisegirl.bandcamp.com/album/foreve...

Come for the noise, stay for the witches.
