Very excited to have this paper out. Super fun collaboration.

🧪 New paper out at Molecular Ecology! We find that diet quality impacts host ability to tolerate infection and use transcriptomics to determine the molecular mechanisms underlying these diet-driven differences. This was a fun collab between @durantlab.bsky.social & @lewislab.bsky.social labs.

So excited for you!!! It will be hard to watch you go, but I can’t wait to watch the Sauer Lab shine.

Excited to share the news that I have accepted a TT assistant professor position at @rutgersuniversity.bsky.social in the Dept of Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources! I will be recruiting a postdoc and grad students soon for my wildlife disease ecology lab, so check back in here!

A high lipid diet leads to worse infectious disease outcomes. Interesting implications for wildlife food supplementation. Always exciting to have a new manuscript out! Congrats @ashley-love.bsky.social @sauerscientist.bsky.social @jexpbiol.Bsky.social journals.biologists.com/jeb/article/...

I was unintentionally killing a plant. About 2 months ago, I placed it on the “Free Table” with a help me sign. The plant disappeared. Look what showed up on the Free Table today! The note😍🌿
