Today, the Supreme Court decided that Congress, despite giving the president the ability to "regulate imports", didn't actually mean it.

Second, cocaine, which is the main drug trafficked out of Venezuela, is a profit center for all of the Latin America cartels. If you cut out the money from cocaine (or even reduce it) you substantially weaken the cartels overall. Also, cocaine is bad too!

The president offered multiple off ramps, but was very clear throughout this process: the drug trafficking must stop, and the stolen oil must be returned to the United States. Maduro is the newest person to find out that President Trump means what he says.

Kudos to our brave special operators who pulled off a truly impressive operation.

The single biggest obstacle to prosecuting violent leftists is judges and prosecutors in deep blue areas who think violence is OK if you're a leftist. This is why we must get rid of the blue slip process. It's an institutional safeguard that has long outlives its purpose.
