Congratulations Mumbai Indians. DC’s time will come, but feel for them again. 3 finals, 3 defeats. NSB an incredible WPL season. 523 runs in 10 games. Overseas dominated, but excited for some young Indian players. Hope we see more get an opportunity next year. #WPLFinal

I’m most fortunate to spend the majority of my life in the company of the most brilliant, talented & inspiring Women. At home, in the commentary box and on the playing field. Happy #InternationalWomensDay to you all.

A wonderful tournament. Thanks to all for watching & seeing these young talents grow & flourish on the big stage. Huge congratulations to India, who were a class apart. But there’s plenty of players from all nations that we’ll be talking about in the years to come. Joyous.

Been a very good chase by England but it genuinely looks like it’s properly pissing down in Canberra. There’s still a lot to get off 5 balls… it’s got to be fair for the fielding side too. Totally the right decision to bring them off.

Last round of group games at the U-19 Women’s U19 T20 World Cup… lots riding on both games in group B. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v 🇺🇸 0230 GMT 🇵🇰 v 🇮🇪 0630 GMT England game on Sky Cricket & main event now!

Well am afraid that’s that regarding the Women’s Ashes. Australia are a class apart… & even without Gardner & Healy, still brushed aside England. Massive difference in the field… some tough questions have to be asked of players & coaches. Congrats to Australia.

Calling UK night owls! The ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup starts in 5 hours time! Eng v Ire live on Sky Cricket & main event 0215. Also 0215, SS Mix, first timers Samoa v Nigeria! Do join us from Malaysia, it’s a fantastic & joyous tournament.

Well hello all! And hi to new followers… am pretty much leaving the other place behind now. Just going to keep it open for plugging the Daggers & Lyds podcast. So, Apologies for radio silence… but have now arrived in Malaysia for the start of the Women’s U19 T20 World Cup! Hurrah!

Will post some pics on here, a few vids but can only do 60 seconds so likely to be over on Instagram. Oh and being about 100 miles from the equator… I may lose a stone or two! 😂 And for those wondering (probably none) the puppy is getting bigger.

Was at the inaugural one 2 years ago and was sensational. Purest cricket you’ll ever see and some wonderful emerging talent on show! Doubt it will be on mainstream TV but all matches likely be shown on ICC website or app. This year, Samoa, Nigeria, Nepal & hosts Malaysia are involved…wonderful!

Seeing Sam Konstas get his opportunity is so exciting when you’ve seen them perform at the 19’s World Cup. Seeing these kids progress to the biggest stage. Bethell, Konstas, Titas Sadhu, Vishmi, Hlubi, Rehan, Maphaka etc…the list is long!! Such a thrill!

I swear I’m not trying to be a negative-Nelly, but has Strictly had its day now? Or have I missed the mark? (Was just obvious that all the last dances were going to get 10’s.) Just feels a bit tired. Anyway, perhaps I’m in the minority!!

Well, made that hard work Bucs, but very gutsy at the end. 6-6 and back in the mix. Meanwhile can’t help but feel happy for Bryce Young. A miserable start on a miserable team but has to feel good about the last 3 weeks or so. Keeping them crossed that he continues upwards. (Apart from against us!)
