The churches I’ve visited on this campaign trail have reminded me what it means to not grow weary in well-doing. Honored to visit St. John Missionary Baptist Church to see a community putting faith in action.

Honored to celebrate Rev. Dr. Johnny L. Miller and 50 years of faithful service to his congregation and our community. For half a century, he has shown all of us the power of a life devoted to serving others. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement!

Leading our communities starts with listening to those who serve them every day. I broke bread with local clergy leaders to hear the concerns of their congregations and how I can best serve Illinois faith communities. I’m grateful for their partnership and wisdom in this work.

It was a pleasure to convene with old friends and make new ones at the Calumet Township Annual Breakfast. I'll be thrilled to become your next lieutenant governor because I'll get to represent communities like this.

Rain or shine, @themariapeterson and I won’t let anything stop us from knocking doors, meeting you, and showing up for your community. Get out and vote for a fighter in the Illinois House as JB and I fight for you in the State Capitol.

As a proud UChicago alum, young voters like UChicago Democrats fill me with hope for the future of our party and country. Chatting with them today brought back so many great memories of my time as a student. Keep up the great work!

Every day I go to work, I try to show this kid that the change he dreamed of making is possible if he never gives up. Grateful for another year to serve, make a difference, and make him proud.

Our students set the pace and bring the energy to this fight. I'm glad I can count on the College Democrats at Illinois State University to show Illinois what they're made of this November.
