My 9/11 story is, growing up in MI, I lived down the street from a big convention center called Gibraltar Trade Center. When people said a plane hit the trade center, I remember myself and my family going "Huh, I didn't hear or feel anything" lmao

I'm haunted by the lack of proper, accessible documentation (as in not a single post on a forum or a short video) on how backlighting and other special lighting effects have been done in traditional cel animation. It's seriously at risk of becoming a lost art if something isn't done soon
