Hi all. Adopt a rent was alerted to 2 needs that are back rents for February & March and we do not have donors currently. One is A who was detained by ICE from December to February and thus lost his work permit & job. He owes just over $3000 for back rent including march. Can you chip in or share?

You can sign up to be connected to a rent need directly via the Adopt A Rent program OR you can barnraise with me by chipping in here on Bluesky. We completed or funded in full FOUR rents this way last night. V: colocha_rachel $: ColochaRachel Dm for Zelle www.standwithminnesota.com/adoptarent

Just got a message from South High saying “We currently have requests totaling $33,965 for rent and we have $7500 available tomorrow. Please try to share the gofundme widely! Thanks” Well, that simply will not do. I'll match the first $900. Please help my fellow South High families if you can! 🖤🧡🖤

I know there are a lot of mutual aid asks coming out of Minneapolis right now, but both of my kids graduated from South High and it would mean a lot to me for people to contribute to this rent fund for my fellow South families. I’ll match the first $1000 if you post receipts. Tiger Pride 🧡🖤

This is why Minnesotans are begging folks outside the state to keep talking about us. Please don’t let the world forget we are still in danger.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

ICE should be abolished. They are a rogue and reckless agency. Their agents act with impunity, kill & hunt our neighbors, break laws, violate basic rights, hurt children, and are corrupt. Any agency that can be abused at such a scale and weaponized against the American people should not exist.
