Next year’s Sick New World has been cancelled, I reckon the reason is a combination of stupidly high ticket costs for a one day festival, and a lineup that, in my opinion, completely missed the mark for what Sick New World originated as.

The fact that people think streaming music on Spotify is “free” is the reason why the music industry is such a shit show right now. Streaming has devalued music so much that it’s close to impossible to make a living as an independent artist.
