Airbnb hosts stripped of their ability to make the people paying them also do a bunch of chores

For a big group trip an Airbnb makes sense but otherwise I’ve never understood the appeal vs. a classic hotel, particularly when the costs are even remotely close

A comment I regularly think about in the hotel vs airbnb decision is, paraphrased, "if there's a problem with a hotel room, they can switch your room, or otherwise have the supplies to fix the problem right then. Good luck with that in an airbnb."
