Why the fluff are DC taxpayers having to pay $300M in freebies for a guy worth twelve BILLION dollars? And he’s just one of TWENTY owners. If he wants to build a new stadium he needs to pay for ALL the city infrastructure changes required to support it. STOP GIVING BILLIONAIRES PUBLIC FUNDS.

D.C. is putting $300 million towards expanding the Stadium Armory station, which Clarke says is needed. But he adds, "There isn’t a lot of time. August 2030 is around the corner for us." Work will have to be done as regular service continues as the station.
