When private data on the AT Protocol rolls out, it'd be cool to be able to store your Obsidian vault in your PDS.

Some more ideas in that direction ->

Just thinking: - Obsidian Sync on your own PDS - Notion alts - Discord alts - Family/Team planning apps - Figma / Figjam alts - Social media planning apps - AI tools for keeping memories, plans, configurations at one place - CRMs - Photo Libraries - Client / Freelancer tools (with sifa integration)

Reminds me a bit of Nextcloud, but with decentralized auth and ownership (hopefully).

This is super cool. I think I'll hold off to test anything until there's an option that works with protocol native private data, but it's neat to see the basics already in place.

I thought I saw a PDS recently that implements some version of the premissioned data spec, in which case I could try actually wiring up the said backend to test it.

But yea, the plugin was mostly the standard.site integration experiment for me + to catch up on the permissioned data proposal hence me simply throwing encrypted content on the PDS as a “placeholder”. I’m glad you found it neat, though, thank you 😊
