The Wilder watching continued with my 13-year-old and me enjoying The Apartment yesterday. She's a big romcom fan. I told her it's my favorite romcom (or romcom-adjacent). She gave it her highest praise: "Yeah," shrug, "that was pretty good."
Billy Wilder's Witness for the Prosecution is an unbelievable film. And, with the possible exception of her novel And Then There Were None, my favorite thing from Agatha Christie.
