I worry about sympathy votes from the Cult and Democrats getting apathetic - Problem solved and too many stay home. I haven't missed an election in 48 years and not about to start now. Plus NJ does the leg/gov in odd years (in a valiant effort to get some attention) so I'm there every election day

If he's gone, the Cult's out. They only show up when he's on the ballot and if he's never going to be on the ballot again, they'll slink back under their rocks. Democrats getting apathetic is a real concern. I thought we'd start taking voting seriously after 2016, but then 2024 happened.
