I know it isn't as immediately jaw-dropping in its dementedness as "Islamic Republic of Japan," but let's note Trump just declared that Iran -- you know, the country we utterly defeated and destroyed and left permanently helpless militarily? -- was able to shoot down more 111 U.S. missiles.

For Trump to be asked questions by foreign reporters must a little like being fed to the lions. I haven't seen his entourage (a.k.a. handlers) interject themselves yet, that would piss Trump off even more, but let's all keep in mind that he has the nuclear codes and no one will stand up to him.

I worry about sympathy votes from the Cult and Democrats getting apathetic - Problem solved and too many stay home. I haven't missed an election in 48 years and not about to start now. Plus NJ does the leg/gov in odd years (in a valiant effort to get some attention) so I'm there every election day

Correct. Now, what conclusions can we draw from this situation? My conclusion is this is not going to be stopped. They need him until the elections. Without him, MAGA will wander away aimlessly, humming YMCA. They won't vote.
