People need to be calling their senators and making sure they vote against cloture. Republicans need 60 votes to end it and proceed to voting on the CR. Democrats have the power to stop this. If they vote for cloture though… It's really just meaningless political theater after that.

So DOGE is slashing funding for programs the help Americans like health, education, infrastructure, social security because of $$ but has $10B to deport people? I’d rather keep the immigrants and put the $10B to education and social services.

That "funding bill" also hands over the purse from Congress - their only power - to "the Executive" and gives him the ability to "sequester" funds from any and all Federal departments without approval from any person or body - it's a blank check and Congress wouldn't need to exist anymore.
