Good news!!

@aclu.org I just called to confirm and the rep advised they are still following the EO as they have not been given new guidance to follow a court order at this time. The rep also advised he is not sure when or if they will get those as these are unusual circumstances. Please advise??

I was given a passport in February that listed my birth sex, despite my birth certificate, driver's license, and all public records having been fully updated years ago. Does this mean I can get that corrected?

What's the procedure to follow here?

It's nice on paper, but it will get appealed to the Supreme Court, who will overturn it. And even if they don't, the Trump regime has made it perfectly clear that they have no intention of following the rule of law, and will do what they want anyway because no one keeps them accountable.

Presidential orders are not law. They're directives for those who wish to follow them. If they're illegal, the people who wish to follow them are in violation of the law. If others follow them without actually supporting them, or allow them to be implemented, that's certainly a problem.

Went to the Colorado passport office that processes passports same day and even after showing them the guidance, having a corrected ss card, drivers license, but an uncorrected birth certificate.... I received passport that lists my sex at birth. What the fuck?

@aclu.org how do you file the paperwork for this, and is it only for massachusetts or is it for all of the u.s? i can’t find details or instructions

people should have an X indicator if their particular condition warrants it. So that's one thing the court got right.
