My dad had polio as a kid, they were so poor he never saw a doctor. An orthopedic surgeon asked him years later if he’d had it because of the damage to his spine. He was lucky it didn’t leave him disabled. Vaccines are not evil

Rubella made me pretty sick and when my sisters got sick with measles (before there was a vaccine) you wouldn't want to wish such misery on anyone, especially a child. I was given lifelong immunity to measles from the vaccine as soon as it was available, a much better option.
