I'm a former IT security engineer who had a TS back in the day. A bunch of us old geeks loosely stay in touch. All of us think the real goal of DOGE was to hoover up all the data from the agencies they invaded. Insiders reported witnessing data extraction. The real fun has not yet begun.

I thought all along that a big part of the fraud, waste or abuse he found was the sum total of salaries and benefits from the laid off/fired employees. After all, if you're no longer going to pay them, you're saving that money, right?

Elon got what he wanted and that was to gut the agencies who were coming after him, etc…he never should have been allowed any access to information due to conflicts of interest. The whole thing is an HR nightmare and would never have happened under normal circumstances.

It was never about saving money, it was about stealing our data,getting as many government contracts as he could and dismantling agencies that were investigating him.

In the meantime, many civil service employees are sitting in limbo with no pay. The courts say many can't be fired but they haven't been called back yet. And, I fear the 2026 budget will NOT provide money for their salaries. This whole administration is totally corrupt.

This entire Trump government is a fraud! The entire purpose of Trump 2 was to avoid criminal conviction and now payback. Economic payback by lining his pockets with cash and retribution against anyone who tried to hold him accountable!

How many Federal employees lost their jobs? How many federal agencies were shut down? How many citizens are still waiting for disaster relief because of FEMA shutdown? Time to sue Musk!

All Musk really destroyed was USAID (for Putin) and all of the regulatory or government cases against him, on top of stealing Americans personal data and putting backdoors and malware on our departmental systems that run this government...just that...

He took our data and killed federal investigations into him while destroying numerous federal agencies, leading to preventable deaths around the globe. He should be in a supermax for life.

My guess is that he wanted to go after the agencies that he was involved with in litigation proceedings. And he wanted to ensure that his companies got government contracts. There was a method to his madness.

I think anyone with a working brain would see the pattern of Musk's cuts and figure out what was going on. He damaged or destroyed agencies that had problems with his companies or were investigating him for financial reasons. He gutted the CHIPS Act because he wasn't one of the regulators, etc.

The damage they have done and the danger they have put everyone in is far from fake, though🤬‼️

DOGE illegally fired millions of workers and closed agencies that were investigating him. He defunded important institutions like USAIDS and Dept of Education. People are dying because of Musk. He has accessed all our personal data to create a dossier on each of us. Trump will use this to attack us.

The cuts to USAID and many other worthy agencies are, unfortunately, real. 300,000 had died so far, most of them children, as a direct result.

And don't forget the part of his plan that include him getting ALL the government contracts while cancelling any investigations into his companies and firing all the oversight employees. Greasing the skids.

All while taking mad amounts of drugs. He’s a junkie.
