Can Congress enact a policy “No pay” for lawmakers when in a shutdown? I know it’s not that simple. Maybe lock negotiators in a room until a reasonable agreement is proposed. Again, wishful thinking but these petulant lawmakers need to get moving.

I get so angry that our tax dollars are used to pay for the vacationing repub's salaries. The California constitution was changed in 2010 so legislators lost salary if budget did not pass on time. Shutdowns ended completely since then. Need this change at federal level.
