Me too. This time last year, the media was treating Trump as if he was already president. Our billionaire magi were tripping over themselves to present gifts to the new king. He's still in a position to do a great deal of damage with masked goons running amok, but the fever seems to be breaking.

Great summary, but I think you go to easy on the man. The parade had nothing to do with the 250th anniversary of the military. Other parades were planned. It was hardly a coincidence that it occurred on his birthday. And reports at the time were that it cost more like $50 million. 1/

Trump needs to prove he's not Putin's bitch. He captured oil tankers with sanctions, Russia has been selling sanctioned oil around the world. He needs to capture Russia oil tankers and confiscate the oil. Show us that he doesn't bend over and drop his pants for Putin.

That Trump became president. The surrender of democracy to Putin. The sell out by press. The fact that we've been traumatized every day since Trump's held power. I hope you're right and things get better, but I seriously doubt we come back from this without serious change and accountability.

America is in full decline thanks to the Republican Party. The only way out is to wipe them out in the 2026 elections. Then the Republican Party can be replaced with something new. Hopefully something that isn’t a Russia loving cabal of traitors and tyrants.
