I have always disliked the GOP. I have quite frequently been disappointed in the Democrats. I have to wonder if these non-Maga GOP types are as distainful of the Democratic party ideals as I am of the GOP ideals. Defeat Trump, Maga, plutocrats; like there is always the next degrading battle. Ugh.

There is never going to be a politician that doesn't disappoint you at some level at some time. You're not entitled to someone to cater to your every needs. That said, the GOP actively works to tear this country apart and that alone makes them untenable to me compared to Democrats.

I’m no expert in any sense of anything but it seems to me that general chaos is a benefit to dictators. It buys them time, it’s a convenient reason to clamp down on domestic dissent, and it’s perfect cover for whatever schemes they’re up to.

Well yes. The one thing you don't want chaos in is warfare. And yet this administration is being chaotic about this war, because they have to break norms about everything. Even people who defend Piggy have come out and said things like "I wish he would have done this".

I get that Rs are still scared of him and MAGA, but this is one line they need to cross. You can't be blindly loyal with lives of American servicemen on the line.

Also you Americans need to start understand and acknowledge, this is not going to be anything like in Iraq or Afghanistan if boots on the ground is going to happen. Sure, some of you get this, but I see lot of people who do not understand anything about drone war.

I know there is this consensus amongst lot of Americans. Usa is this unstoppable warmachine, always best equipment, weapons stragecy etc. But you will be surprised how modern warfare has changed because of drones. And I just don't think U.S. is ready for it.

We aren't ready for it. And this administration dismissing both the Ukrainian War and assistance from Ukraine just illustrates this. This administration also has put forward a $1.5 trillion defense budget which includes money for drones, but we are still obsessed over big ticket items
