In the past two years, with surprisingly little notice, renewable energy has suddenly become the obvious, mainstream, cost-efficient choice around the world.

Take away with your climate doomerism. You are pushing a narrative that is great for the Fossil Industrial Complex. Yes we are likely past the point of avoiding serious climate effects. But we are also accelerating at lightning speed. Giving up only helps the oilygarchy.

This is not that. There is no "doomerism" simple scientific facts. I understand that science, facts and words have lost meaning, so I understand your reply. The earth will experience increasingly violent events this will become "normal" but, the scale will keep on growing, slowly over coming decades

I beg to differ. It is a narrative pushed to make us give up. Forecasts are not absolute facts. What we are witnessing is an exponential growth of renewables, that may well replace much of fossil fuels in the next decade. We will likely breach many of the dangerous thresholds, but not apocalypse
