Be ready if Trump invokes the insurrection act. Federal judges would almost certainly consider his prior unlawful 2025 deployments and the rulings that found the deployments unlawful, unsupported by facts. The rulings make it much easier to argue that his invocation lacks a factual legal basis.

Trump’s accumulation of court rebukes weakens the government’s position — especially where judges have said the administration failed to meet statutory standards or stretched the law beyond precedent. You will have substantial legal ammunition based on recent cases.

Courts have shown they can and will scrutinize the administration’s claims rather than continue to defer blindly to them. You already know all of this and are probably ready for a rapid legal response if Trump invokes the insurrection act. But just in case you’re not, get on it. We can beat him. Win

I hope that you can reign in this terror campaign. Don't back down; the president and his cronies are threatening the Insurrection Act. I hope he doesn't send the military, but if they follow his orders, this WILL get even uglier.

This is the way. Justice will never come on the streets. We need to give the AG office evidence of Trump’s crime so they can get us justice in the courtroom.

Sue them. Sue them for every act of excessive force, every violation of the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, and fourteenth amendment, and for every deprivation of rights under the color of law. Sue them right into the ground so they never recover. ICE's budget should all go to legal settlements.

Awesome. Collecting anecdotes that can be mentioned in a strongly worded letter and quoted in a subsequent press release. In a couple weeks.

What’s most useful to my office right now are experiences that are specific and as detailed and direct as possible. In order to highlight certain impacts in Court, we may need to speak with eyewitnesses or those directly involved, rather than just collecting stories you have heard secondhand.

Is the local police filing reports when they see something? They're at the scene in many of these incidents with cameras and they're considered impartial. Can you explain what instructions and obligations local law enforcement have for when they see something?
