There seems to be a misunderstanding as to why Netanyahu is being investigated for treason. It isn’t the genocide in Gaza. Depressingly every prominent mainstream political figure projected as a potential replacement for bloody Bibi, is as blood thirsty as he is.

The problem has never been just one politician or party. It’s Israel’s culture of violence. It’s the disturbing mix of ethno nationalism,theocracy and state imposed militarism. Nationalism plus religious fundamentalism plus mandatory conscription has made Israel the most right wing country on earth.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Oliver Reed was also a Grand Master. He commissioned an elite squad known as the Hellraisers. They influenced entertainment, and British politics through the art of cloak and stagger. Quite possibly the longest serving Grand Master I believe he was serving even on the set of Gladiator.

Our roots go all the way back to the Tipsy Templar Knights. And the stone brewers of ancient Germanic tribes. We played a major role in the American Revolution. We were the drunks that threw tea in the harbor. Our Grand master at the time with Samuel Adams who we honor with his own beer.

After that, Benjamin Franklin was Grand Master if not for his drunken escapades France wouldn’t have backed the American Revolution. We’ve also had a few fuck ups like the Hindenburg, Chernobyl, Windows Vista, and how pajama pants always rip down the crotch rendering the little button useless.
