To put it another way, are you okay if The New York Times only interviewed white people 80% of the time when they covered Black people? This is intentional and systematic. If you don't want trans people to suffer, the two lowest hanging fruits you can do right now is to quit Substack and NYT

Ok, I'm confused. Can someone please explain to me what Substack is and why it's bad? I know very little about it, but I hear independent political commentary like David Pakman say all the time that Substack is the only place he actually owns his media if he were to get shut down on youtube.

In addition to platforming alleged rapists and sex traffickers like Andrew Tate, Substack also requires all publishers to tithe their reader income, which they specifically use to recruit and fund transphobic bigots through six-figure advances (remember Bari Weiss?)
