NEW: DSA's National Political Committee passed two resolutions today aimed at Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, beginning processes that could result in DSA-LA being forced to rescind its endorsement of her this weekend and/or Raman herself being expelled from DSA by January.

To be even more pragmatic, the most important function of Nithya Raman is to create a massive population boom in Los Angeles so that California stops bleeding congressional seats to Florida, Texas, or Idaho, and the left gets an enraged voter base to primary all the septuagenarians in 2032
