I am very proud to once again be officially endorsed by the New Westminster and District Labour Council! Being described as a leader who can “change your life” does not land lightly with me. I’m incredibly proud of this endorsement and deeply grateful for the trust that comes with it.

Outside of council, I am a worker. I have been a CUPE member for 20 years. I know what it means to balance work, family and the rising costs that come with everyday life. That gives me a different perspective on how the decisions we made at City Hall affect workers and their families.

I promise to keep doing exactly what I was endorsed as: being be inclusive, thoughtful, outspoken and compassionate leader. I’ll keep working hard, listening to our community, and standing up for working families and the people who call Pitt Meadows home.
