I’m running for re-election to Council because I love Pitt Meadows. In the last 4 years, we’ve made real progress, and I believe there’s still more to do. I want to keep building a Pitt Meadows that is safe, connected and full of opportunity for everyone. Let’s keep moving forward together!

I’m honoured to have been re-elected to Pitt Meadows Council! Thank you to everyone who put their trust in me and supported me throughout this campaign. I don’t take this responsibility lightly. I’m ready to keep working hard for our community! Thank you, Pitt Meadows! #PittMeadows

I’m proud to be endorsed by CUPE BC! This endorsement means a lot to me. I’ve seen firsthand the value of public service and the people who work hard every day to support our communities. Thank you for your trust and support! #PittMeadows #CUPEBC #VoteEvans

I am very proud to once again be officially endorsed by the New Westminster and District Labour Council! Being described as a leader who can “change your life” does not land lightly with me. I’m incredibly proud of this endorsement and deeply grateful for the trust that comes with it.

I promise to keep doing exactly what I was endorsed as: being be inclusive, thoughtful, outspoken and compassionate leader. I’ll keep working hard, listening to our community, and standing up for working families and the people who call Pitt Meadows home.

Outside of council, I am a worker. I have been a CUPE member for 20 years. I know what it means to balance work, family and the rising costs that come with everyday life. That gives me a different perspective on how the decisions we made at City Hall affect workers and their families.

I happen to be one of those people…🙋🏼‍♀️

a thing about ubcm week is a weirdly large number of people who i don't report on are very excited At Seeing Justin McElroy In Real Life, and so the vibe is sort of like covering comic-con if you were also an avenger but this week, it was like if an alternate universe collided into the comic-con

Hey Kamloops! Take good care of my boy! Chris is starting a new school, a new place to live, a new city and a new baseball team at Thompson Rivers University. ⚾️ Of course he’s taking a little piece of Pitt Meadows with him…proudly wearing his “Born and Raised in Pitt Meadows” hat!

“Insulting,” “threatening,” and “out of touch” were just some of the words Pitt Meadows’ mayor used to describe a letter from B.C.’s housing minister warning the city it is at risk of failing to meet provincial housing targets. Read more in The Ridge: buff.ly/heLLJ1M #PittMeadows #TheRidge

Tumbler Ridge is a small planned resource community, a winding 90 minute drive from the nearest city of at least 10,000 people. A massive number of people are going to descend there tomorrow. May those that arrive have respect and grace for the unimaginable grief.

1/2 My heart is broken for Tumbler Ridge. Students, teachers, families, friends, the ripple effects of this violent act will touch so many. This is a heavy day for their community. My heart is with them tonight.

2/2 To the dispatchers, RCMP officers, paramedics, firefighters, doctors and clinic staff who responded: you were placed in an unimaginable situation, and you showed up with courage and care. You helped. You saved lives. Please take care of yourselves and each others in the days ahead.

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work. Job1: “Do you have an emergency?” and “Where is this happening?” Job2: “I’m hearing this a lot from residents…” and “This wasn’t an easy decision…”

1/2 Spent the day in Burnaby at the Destination BC Forum for the Vancouver & Coastal Mountain area! We heard about the economic impact of tourism, where the industry is headed, how major events like the World Cup can benefit local communities, and the importance of sustainable tourism. #PittMeadows

2/2 It sparked a lot of ideas about how Pitt Meadows can thoughtfully benefit from tourism. Favourite quote of the day: “A great place to live is also a great place to visit.” And when it comes to livability… being ranked #3 in Canada speaks for itself. 😬 #Tourism #PittMeadows

#3 in the country?! 🇨🇦❤️ Heck yah we are! 🙌🏻 And the #1 Small City! But let’s be honest… we already knew that 😉 ➡️ 47% less likely to experience crime than the Canadian average ➡️ 89% of residents have a family doctor ➡️ 80% of us feel a strong sense of belonging Love this city. Love this community.❤️

1/3 Council celebrated Jaime Perrault, a talented soccer player who grew up right here in Pitt Meadows playing for West Coast Soccer. Jaime is playing professionally for the Vancouver Rise in the Northern Super League and this year, in the league’s very first season, the Rise were the champions!

2/ Tonight, she joined us in council chambers, and the Rise communications team even brought along the Diana B. Matheson Cup! Jaime is a wonderful ambassador for the sport of soccer, for women’s sports, and especially for Pitt Meadows. #PittMeadows

3/3 We are proud of her incredible accomplishments with the Rise and her dedication to encouraging more girls and young women to follow their dreams all the way to professional sports. (And she was even kind enough to sign my jersey! I can’t wait to wear it proudly at Swanguard Stadium next season!

1/3 I was honoured to speak at the opening of the newest exhibition at the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery and to introduce the artist, Molly Gray, and her limited series prints for the exhibition “Our Feathered Friends”. #PittMeadows #SupportTheArts

2/3 “Our Feathered Friends” is an interesting and engaging exhibit, featuring life-size prints of birds you can actually find right here in Pitt Meadows. One especially cool feature: QR codes throughout the gallery let you hear each bird’s call (the turkey vulture is slightly terrifying!).

Last night was my first Vancouver Goldeneyes game and it was so fun!! Thrilled to be there for a dominant 5–0 win over Toronto! Amazing hockey, fun atmosphere, a great crowd, and a reminder of how powerful it is to invest in women’s sport. Can’t wait to go to my next game!

1/2 It’s almost that time of year again… I’m doing the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics! It’s cold, it’s uncomfortable, and it’s 100% worth it to support the incredible Special Olympics athletes!🥶

1/3 Last night I attended the first play at Pitt Meadows Secondary in 26 years, and it was truly delightful! Bottom of the Lake was student-led. From directing and lighting to set design, makeup, and acting. It was funny, clever, and such a treat for the audience.

2/3 The arts matter. They build confidence, connection, teamwork, and belonging, and this performance showed what happens when students are given the space and support to create together. The bond within the drama program was clear, and the pride of parents, families, and teachers filled the room.

3/3 Congratulations to the talented students on an incredible production. Here’s hoping this marks the beginning of many more years of theatre at PMSS. #PittMeadows #PerformingArts #SupportTheArts

It was such a heartwarming and happy ceremony. ❤️ These well deserving award recipients embody exactly what makes Pitt Meadows such a great place to live!

I used to love Twitter. I had been on the platform since 2009. It felt like a community for years. Once elected, I experienced hate, threats of violence and generally awful interactions. I stopped posting in 2023, and eventually deleted my account. There are other ways to engage with the public.

1/2 For the first time in 26 years, PMSS students are bringing a full theatrical production to the stage with “Bottom of the Lake” by Steven Stack. This play blends ghost stories, urban legends, teen experiences, comedy, and film noir, all performed by the talented PMSS students! #PittMeadows

2/2 This is a huge milestone for arts and culture in our community and a testament to the hard work of students and staff who made it happen. Let’s pack the theatre and show our support! 📅 January 21–23, 2026 🎟 Tickets: www.onstagedirect.com/dash/ticket_... #PittMeadows
