Damn it, the US generates enough food waste to keep these people alive. Grocery stores toss out an apple because it has a slight bruise. Perfectly edible foods are tossed out because of a random expiration date designed only to keep demand going. Capitalism kills.

Sending aid to buy weapons for a wealthy country but not aid to buy food for countries that need it.

Just awful. Absolutely awful.

There's enough land, energy, water, and food for every human on earth many times over. It's all concentrated in the wrong Imperialist hands.
