The heat is on!

AI will soon become a commodity that consumers can quickly and easily switch between. Bad news for those who have invested millions into one particular company.

Clearly I'm missing something and I'd really like to know what it is, as to my mind if you don't know the real cost of training I don't see how you can make any claims about the economic viability of the AI labs. Are all the claims about poor unit economics and subsidising customers simply false?
