Hey hey hey!!! I made the T-shirt actually a thing. I'm selling it from the store of a future music project right now… I'm not paying shopify another monthly fee. That being said this is fun… so if there's sales, I'm definitely down for an entire collection and its own store. Yolonomics all the way.

Don't want to burst the bubble here but… not sure if these people have any idea how many feel utterly useless in their job and get treated like dirt. I know that sounds very pessimistic but I really am starting to think higher-educated people have NO IDEA. none. *Chip on my shoulder activates* 😂

TRUMP: ANYBODY REPORTING VOTER FRAUD IN PAST ELECTIONS, OR UPCOMING 2026 MIDTERM ELECTION, WILL BE PAID $1,000,000 UPON ARREST AND CONVICTION OF THOSE THAT CREATED FRAUD

Government Debt/GDP in Brazil seems to fluctuate beyond left-center-right politics. Both sides of the spectrum experienced highs, jumps and falls. Is that a fair assumption? Also too high depends on the plans and the reasons for a high debt. Extremes however risk fiscal dominance, especially in EM.

👀 Max Kettner @ HSBC, the most reliably upbeat analyst I can think of, is spooked "We've been max OW stocks and max UW sovereign bonds since mid-March. Given the constant narrative bingo we just can't have the same level of conviction any longer. Tactically neutral equities and OW DM sovs"

The market didn't fail because the "crowd" went crazy. The market failed because the "crowd" was never actually in the room!

"the participant pool"? Just thinking out loud… failure of representation played out across two different platforms?

"Prediction markets", also known as "betting markets" or "event derivatives"… aren't performing better than classic polls here. They're like "efficient markets". They're not? "Wisdom/madness of the participants." Haha, think a bout that one!

None of this is on the national news channel in Belgium… they only show the riots and the violence (which, yes, also happens, sadly enough). But the framing… embarrassing.

Nothing more controversial than chicken. 🐔 After a rotisserie shook French politics (l’affaire master poulet), Beirut is having a chicken moment. And let’s not forget @robarmstrong.bsky.social TACO. Forget debt, education, global warming, oil prices, … it’s all about chicken, as it should be. 🍗

Has anyone checked in with the ultra-rich in Paris? Are they holding up? I mean, not the unrest, but like the risk of being taxed and stuff. Horrible times.

Feel like being part of society. Feel rewarded by your job. It’s good for your self-esteem. Don’t forget to include your motivational letter! Very important.

It seems hedge funds and retail really got gold wrong in aggregate when it comes to futures & options. (Currently that is, the future is obviously undefined.)

Scott Bessent, Yanis Varoufakis & Masayoshi Son have more in common than one would expect. They all like to gamble with debt and swap long-term fiscal credibility for short-term liquidity. Don't be so square. Jazz it up baby. Coming through, high rollers in the house.

Actually these are all incredible examples of how the real drivers behind our ideas and behavior are so strongly defined by personal experiences and psychological traits. So how much true rationality even exists?

Is Dan comparing the "AI build-out" to the "Vegas Strip" his way of sending a warning message?🥹 Can we stop asking opinions of people who have their fingers in the cookie jar? Yorkville Ives > Capital raising, M&A advisory, Institutional trading and execution services.

Well Joe, whether it's arbitrage, trading, investing, … anything really… is not about being "in the trade", it's what should you pay for what you get. Your value at CNBC is being questioned by the way. I however, do think you're the perfect voice for Wall Street. All Aboard!

Besides me questioning why "luxury brands" feel like McDonalds, just way more expensive, The "days outstanding inventory" for Kering is rather intriguing. Most of it is commercial inventories after looking at the notes. I'm no specialist in the fashion business but styles do change rather fast?
