I was scared by a lot of movies as a kid, but the scene in Superman 3 where a woman is forcibly turned into a cyborg by a rogue computer stands out. Saw that movie in the theater, and that image haunted me.

I also found Supergirl (1984), with its witchy Faye Dunaway character and weird Phantom Zone sequence with Peter O’Toole, pretty unsettling.
