Mastodon seems to be where most of my engineering-adjacent peer type people are anyway, and, while I don’t entirely love it, it seems to at least feel at least a bit more welcoming.

Got into a dumb, pedantic legal argument with some pretty angry scolds where I feel my position was being caricatured. Was already iffy on Bluesky, which, as I’ve said, I find to be a chilly and unwelcoming place, and that just clinched it. Just don’t feel like I need this in my life right now.
