If you're looking for bold comics that speak out against Christofascism like Ken Russell's The Devils, might I recommend my short story MONOLITH? (Illustrated by the incredible @wyrmsfornerves.bsky.social) (Publishers: Let me know if I can send you my one-page pitch for the maxi version.)

The maxi is something completely different yet also not too far away. This is honestly the most mythical and satirical story I could possibly imagine yet the most intimate and character-driven one as well. A uniquely American tragedy.
