What is the value of using atproto for a registrar? Besides automatically verifying handles and login.

You can edit your nameservers using the at.marque.domain records Or edit your DNS using the at.marque.dns records Which allows for creating custom frontends, and implement Marque in other apps

Clever! Doesn't that make all your records discoverable by the public though? DNS transfer (AXFR) is typically blocked, AFAIK

Your DNS is always public, unless you use Cloudflare, which proxies with their own ip

Oh, and I'm just referring to DNS names - not where they point. Obviously that's public unless you're proxying.

and even then they are still public, just the ip is hidden
