The tech world has a strange inversion of values. We put so much value in tiny improvements to our simplest needs (getting a little more done a little bit faster), and yet so little in addressing our deepest needs of fulfillment, inspiration, & transformation.

Sadly, I agree. We need to rally our angel investors and otherwise to begin putting money behind people with a core mission of “actually” making the world a better place.

Actually I think the tech sector IS filled to the brim with fulfillment, inspiration & transformation. It has incredible tools amazing people and wonderful culture (in general; there are exceptions for everything). Other economic sectors are way, waaaay worse (been there done that).

Nice. To be clear, when I say "we put so much value" I'm talking about our most direct measurement, a.k.a. capital 💰 There are certainly great individuals and small teams working on higher needs, but sadly it feels like a tiny slice of the $Ts that others do to simply make work faster & cheaper.
