!Habits transforms into a beautiful habit journal on the Duo. This may be my favorite version of the app.

Latest !Camera update brings variable aperture control for the new iPhone 18 Pro. In Auto, it picks the optimal aperture, but flip over to Manual and set aperture for full control.

Patricia Klein × !Camera New Artist Series : the camera as science tool from the hands of @patricia_klein_

Love shooting with Zero for pure unaltered captures of the world as it is. 📷 Shot on !Camera

We lost our way with modern cameras. They fooled us into believing that a good photo must be captured at the highest resolution, in sharp focus, evenly exposed, denoised, & cleaned up.

Yet many of our greatest photos are messy, blurry, accidental. The camera was once a creative tool, not just a way to document the moments in our lives but a way to discover them. We forgot how to play.

I built a sideboard! 100% American cherry, solid continuous grain fronts with carved pulls and a 45° chamfer edge detail.

I spent the summer in Japan and needed a good photo look for their traditional interiors. I'm a big fan of Robert Altman, in particular his 1970s New Hollywood era look of cozy, earthy, grainy interiors. So I made a new photo style called ALTMAN, available now in !Camera.

!Boring for iOS 27 is here… ✨ Siri AI support "Take a photo" 📱 Support for new sizes 💧 Liquid Glass refinements ⚙️ New Menus

I love designing for time. So when Rasmus Nielsen reached out to do a uniquely !Boring clock design for the Tinker app… I had an idea.

Design is ultimately about values and how you want to live your life. Shimmer is a reminder that time moves at a cosmic scale that we can't move, but we can pause and enjoy the shimmering stars of this moment. ✨

Tempted to get a cover like this and never use the front screen. People who didn't grow up with flip phones don't know how satisfying it is to slap a screen closed and out of mind.

There's not enough talk about this cute lil calendar and its clever blend mode that gives a nod to print and makes it possible to read the current date from across the room while maintaining the context of a full month.

For years we listened to many preach the virtue of incremental refinements. Tweaking every radius. Chasing the pure form. And sure, there's value in that. But sometimes you just need change.

Change is good. Not for its novelty. But because it conjures new problems that force us to generate new ideas. A tidal wave of creativity has just been unleashed. And we needed it.

This summer I traveled around Hokkaido and developed a new photo LUT inspired by legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins.

In particular, his ability to subtly dramatize a scene without looking like an effect—lusher green forests, deeper blue seas, yet retaining punchy warm colors and natural skin tones. After weeks of adjustments, I landed on something I really like and it's become my new daily driver.

So busy adding soul to your software (i.e. shaders and animations) that you forgot real soul is just a company that acts like a decent human being. Good on ya, Panic.

The biggest software leaps are born from someone feeling bored or lazy or spiteful. Who’s hiring for these qualities?

You can now choose different capture aspect ratios in !Camera (1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 1.91:1) We show the full sensor view with a crop region similar to crop guides on pro movie cameras.

!Camera is now fully-localized across major languages. 🇹🇼🇨🇳🇯🇵🇰🇷🇫🇷🇩🇪🇮🇹🇪🇸🇲🇽

I've come to learn that my worst work tends to come from stubbornly clinging to a singular idea that ends up overcomplicating the approach or limiting its potential. Also, my best work… so… who knows.

I give one talk each year to share my latest work. This year I'll be at the September Work(shop) in Sonoma, CA with an odd group of creators incl an ice creamer and a magician. I prefer these small, personal events over big conferences. Come and hang. september.works/excursion2026

The next big !Camera release brings Crop & other fun stuff ► Zoom & pan ► Adjust Tone mapping on RAW photos ► Hold to compare original ► Viewfinder Grids: 3x3, 4x4, 6x4, Phi ► Preserve settings across app launches ► Gallery photos show full aspect ratio ► Faster startup

How much you play is my favorite measure of success in this industry. You stop looking up to tech execs (who look miserable) or hyper-growth founders (stressed) and start looking up to independent creative minds who shape a space that allows them to play.
