One of the points I tried to make clear in having this conversation was: I’m not a radical. I am a *boring middle-aged dad*, who’s raised tens of millions of dollars in venture capital, and worked in tech for decades. I have not lost my mind, or become an extremist. THEY DID.

I still just want to make cool stuff on the internet! And work with my friends and let people have some health insurance and agree with the goddamn reasonable consensus that child sexual abuse material is not only not acceptable, but shouldn’t be part of your business model! I’m normal!

Thanks! I had declined all interviews for several years, but I think things are dire enough that there’s probably value in being out there to tell these stories, even if I know there will be an onslaught of people telling me I’m full of myself or need to shut the hell up, etc.

Really isn't it just your entire country on a different scale? Most people in tech are not extremists, but extremists have taken over and are running things - just like the USA? I hope you can fight back on both levels!

I'm looking forward to the day you have the strength to withstand the notes-up-writing onslaught. You're one of the calmest voices in the tech arena.
