I wish you allowed nsfw ;_; porn comics are such an important part of especially queer communities. Porn artists are hounded all over the web, so it's especially sad when not even a creator made space allows us in.

NSFW content comes with a LOT of liability, and this is a free service of which I am the only maintainer. I would love to be able to host this kind of content in the future--I personally have no problem with it--but it may jeopardize plans for creator monetization, so I'm not sure. :/

I get that, but on the other hand: there are already a variety of monetization methods out there. From patreon to ko-fi to plain paypal. It is a decision you have to make, is community, a COMPLETE comics community more important than also having control over monetization.

these platforms have the legal and financial means to support this kind of content, which is awesome. But this really isn't a question about values. even if monetization is off the table, I literally just dont have the means to support this.

what platforms do you mean? What I meant was: a comic platform doesn't necessarily need it's own payment methods to be valuable, since anyone can easily link their external ones

oh just meant that Patreon and Kofi have the means to mitigate the liability of hosting NSFW content. That said: yes! You can actually link to Patreon on Webcomic Studio, in fact I'm looking into making Patreon links more prominant than other social links so creators can attract more supporters.

Kofi does not host nsfw content. :') I just....you know, can you try imagining what it feels like as nsfw creator to be literally chased away from every space you try to build?

Big companies are never going to listen. It's people like you who might. I know it's not easy (I am literally one of the people getting chased around by all these laws and rules), but even just researching, making connections to others fighting the same fight, it would mean a lot.
