Torches, and Lights in general. The invention of 'White' LEDs has saved Billions of Tonnes of Pollution from the Power generation required to power incandescent Bulbs (And CRT Televisions, rather than flat-screen LED ones) And LED Torches are so much

brighter, and therefore more useful than the older, incandescent bulbed ones !

Torches 🆗 but vehicle LEDs are needlessly bright and in line of sight to non SUV drivers 👎
