Almost 4 years with M1 MBP 16/512 and the only thing I’m really lack is RAM as I’d like to tinker with local LLMs more. 😅

I regretted my upgrade last year. And I went for the all-black keyboard which makes typing much harder.

Same here, still on the first gen M1 MacBook Air. Besides wishing I had a bit of a bigger hard drive, it handles all my needs beautifully.

3 years on mine, M1 MBP with 16 gigs of RAM and it’s going strong

They built these things solid. Don’t see myself upgrading any time soon.

Me! Although I have considered upgrading due to making the poor decision to only get 512gb of storage. Other than that though it’s perfect for what I need it for

If I wasn't needing GBs of disk for every single app and crazy memory and CPU for compilation, I would still be rocking my M1 The only thing I couldn't get on with about that machine was the Touch Bar Plan to keep this M3 for at least 5 years
