quilt beetle watercolor on BFK Rives paper

bought this paper for printmaking years ago but haven't had access to a printmaking studio in forever. tried it for watercolors now on a whim and it's probably the best paper I've ever used for the medium. soaks in colors sooo nice and even

only downside is the surface is so delicate that any amount of erasing on it is pretty destructive so pencil sketching before painting is risky. might try that pilot frixion pen trick that's been going around next time I use it
