A good demonstration of how absurdly small insects can get. I was looking at a relatively small (2.5 mm) pteromalid wasp and noticed something stuck to its wing. It was an even smaller wasp.

the smaller wasp appears to be a fairy wasp in the genus Erythmelus but probably too shriveled to ID to species, assuming it even belongs to a described species.

Always crazy to me that there are so many kinds of arthropod in the world that if you see a weird one and take a picture there's a relatively decent chance you're the first person to do that, or yours is just the best taken. There should really be a website for people to just upload weird bug pics.
