Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but: I seem to remember that 'modest' doesn't refer to skin showing, but to ostentatious displays of wealth. Like wearing purple silk with gold embroidery down to the well to fetch some water.

I absolutely love this! Yes, please make your demands that I give up my autonomy, preferably as soon after meeting as possible. You will save us both oodles of time, my mental health, and your physical health.

See, I want women to dress in what ever their brand of whimsy is. And I'm mad as fuck at dudes because I don't get to see that. I'm 100% betting if men all died overnight we'd get some unhinged makeup and outfits.

I really don't want to know his definition of "modest", because I'm super conservative in terms of fashion, and I can remember exactly 2 occasions where I felt a young woman was dressed inappropriately. And guess what? I shut the fuck up about it, because it's not my business how other women dress.

Any dude who bleats about modesty or commands it is literally rejecting the authority of Christ. The number of "Christians" who have apparently never read the bible is truly wild. Talk about false prophets!

I'm gonna predict right now that "Wicker" will be a huge hit, women are going to see it in droves, and MEN ARE GOING TO MIRROR THE MALE CHARACTERS IN THE FILM and lose their collective shit when women stop putting up with them. It's going to be fucking massive and I'm all kinds of here for it.

I like being married, but I've seen quite a few couples that make me believe a marriage license should be earned through a test like a driver's license as well as living together for at least five yrs prior. You don't know how compatible you are until you shared the housework load and the bills.

Most don't dress modestly? Compared to what? What does he consider "modest"? 15th century dresses? Some of those were considered "immodest' for their time. Does he wear a full 3 piece suit daily, with undershirt and sock garters? Anything less is "immodest" for a man

thank God I don't worship his Christ. Mine is bigger both in love, insight, and power. This is where I love saying to men like this "but if we were made in His image, why wouldn't I want to show it off?"
