I'm not a pro-ban person when it comes to substances but it remains beyond insane that 7-OH is being marketed and sold like it's 5 Hour Energy. This shit is not normal "kratom" and it's not an energy supplement. It's fucking Oxy and if you get addicted to it you will get dopesick.

Where’s this from? 13x more potent than morphine sounds way off, that would be fentanyl levels of potency. Heroin is about 2x morphine. Otherwise though yeah, Kratom hits opioid receptors and can cause dependency and withdrawal

I was just looking over the FDA info sheet on it that goes over various tests that have been done on 7-OH and based on those it’s more in the neighborhood of 2-3x the potency of morphine, so up around heroin in strength, which is *crazy* to have sold unregulated in gas stations

If it were 13x the potency of morphine we’d all have been hearing about fatal ODs by now. Even at that potency it may not be as much of a respiratory suppressant as classic opiates—raw Kratom is pretty much impossible to fatally OD on because it doesn’t depress breathing or only just barely
