It's funny that after a decade in FL I'm just used to it. Granted, I also live right beside a town literally called Christmas.

They can't leave Thanksgiving alone but I refuse to even look in the direction of Xmas decor before Halloween has even been given breathing room

Yeah, I really wish Christmas would stay in its lane. I don't want to hear a word about it till after Thanksgiving. But we let capitalism dictate everything in our very sick culture, so the moneygrubbers push this shit at us as early as they can.

We were ranting about this at an RPG session last night. We need to at least let the goths have spooky season and Halloween first.
