The core conference days will be over the weekend, Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th. The 26th & 27th will have booked venue space for extended events, dev training, and building together. We're putting together a Vancouver Locals crew to take you hiking and dining and exploring the area.

For #ATmosphereConf Seattle earlier this year, we had 179 people in person plus hundreds remote - an average of 100 stream watchers at any one time. For Vancouver, we're aiming for 350 people in person, and have room for more!

The @bsky.app team stepped up as the first sponsor, but actually more than that. They wanted to continue the tradition of a community conference: an ATProto conference, not a Bluesky one. They reached out to support us, and to be the first anchor sponsor, including matching funds.

I missed the Seattle one earlier this year, but now I LIVE in Seattle so the trip to Vancouver is easy. Who would you say is the recomended audience for this conference?

We’re going to have something for a number of groups & topics, as well as some folks stepping up to lead specific topics. Devs, Community Builders, Video Creators & Streamers, Media & Journalism, Scientists & Academics Maybe: Gaming, Photography Tell us what you want to learn or share!

We’ll have something for lots of different interests. Might do some investment & integration discussions with @wang.social from @skyseed.fund
